4 Tactics to Stand Firm in your Faith

4 Tactics to Stand Firm in your Faith

Every Christian faces temptations or struggles in their life, which make it difficult to persist in faith. However, we have analyzed for you some of the best tactics used by the strongest warriors in the bible that you can employ to come out stronger when you have a challenge in your life.

Share your faith to the world

Sometimes people put you in awkward situations because they do not know what your stand in faith is. Sharing your faith in God makes a difference. You can use your Christian clothing as a tool to express your opinion, beliefs, and faith in God.

Philemon 1:6 says, “And I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ.”

Moreover, 1 peter 3:15-16 reads, “But in your hearts reverence Christ as Lord, always be prepared to make a defense to anyone who calls you to account for the hope that is in you, yet do it gentleness and reverence; and keep your conscience clear, so that when you are abused, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame.”

Wearing Christian apparel would be a gentle or kind way to express your faith in God to the world.

Read the word of God to know what it says about your situation

Romans 10: 17, ESV says, ‘So faith comes from hearing the message, and hearing through the word of Christ.’ After Jesus Christ was baptized he was led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness where he was tempted by the devil.

Matthew 4:3 -10 says, ‘and the tempter came and said to him. ‘If you are the son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread.’ But he answered, “It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”

Then the devil took him to the holy city, and set him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to him, If you are the son of God, throw yourself down; for it is written, He will give his angels charge of you, and on their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.” Jesus said to him, “Again it is written, you shall not tempt the Lord your God.”

Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory to them; and he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you fall down and worship me. Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone Satan for it is written, you shall worship the Lord your God and only Him shall you serve.”

God’s word has an answer to any situation.

Pray

Personal prayer is the most effective form of communication with God.  To stand firm in your faith as a Christian, you should always have quality and uninterrupted time with God.

Jesus conquered because he found personal time to pray. Mark 1:35 says,” And in the morning, a great while before day, he rose and went out to a lonely place, and there he prayed.”

Jesus Christ often withdrew from the crowd to spend time in personal prayer.

Put all your trust in God

Proverbs 3:5-6 reads, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

If your faith in God the father is dependent upon your understanding you will falter.

Bottom line

To wrap up, we will say your endurance in the pursuit of righteousness, and your trust in God will help you to stand firm in your faith in times of tribulations.
