The "How" of Soulwinning

Man is not a product of evolution; man was created by God. After God created everything and saw that they were good, He made a cozy, beautiful and highly sustainable habitat for man called the garden of Eden, a garden that had all that man would ever need or want. This was where God placed man after God made him.

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.  And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

God gave man instructions about what He had made and told man which trees man could eat fruits from and the tree man should not eat it’s fruits. Unfortunately, man disobeyed God and ate of the fruit of the tree God had commanded him not to eat from. This led to the eviction of man from the garden of Eden and an eternal separation from God. Man lost out and there was no hope for man to have eternity with God 

From the fall of the first man, everyone conceived was conceived in sin. Man didn’t have to do any wrong to be a sinner. He is a sinner, not by what he had done or not done, but because he was born with the sin nature. 

This is why, everyone who fails to accept the redemption plan of God for humanity will end up in hell for all eternity, except someone shares the truth of the gospel with them and invites them to accept God’s love gift in the person of Jesus Christ.

God made a redemption plan…

He had mercy on man and made a way to reconcile man to Himself by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, that whosoever will believe that Jesus died to redeem man and confess Jesus as their Lord and Savior, will be redeemed and become a child of God, a believer, a born again Christian.

Friend, Soul winning is so important to the Christian life, that it was one of the last words of Jesus to the disciples and by extension to you and I, before He ascended into heaven. 

This is why, everyone that receives Jesus has been commanded to bring more people into the kingdom of God. 

Reality Check!!!!

Everyone you meet on the face of the earth, as you go about your day to day activities, is either a citizen of the kingdom of God or of Satan’s kingdom. Though satan did not create anyone, but because the first man, Adam sold out to the devil, everyone who fails to embrace God’s plan of redemption belongs to the devil.

It is therefore a very crucial responsibility of every citizen of God’s kingdom therefore, to fill, increase and enlarge the kingdom of God on earth through soul winning. 

It is the duty of every believer to win the unbelievers, who are conquered by Satan and are his victims and to bring them into God’s Kingdom. 

How important is soul winning?

It is commanded in scriptures so it’s not optional for every child of God 

There is a reward for Christians who commit themselves to evangelism both here on earth and when we get back to heaven. 

There are several ways of winning souls into the Kingdom of God, but for this article, we would consider only three ways.  

Through your Conduct and Lifestyle: This has to do with living our lives according to the dictates of the scriptures. When we manifest the life of Christ, which is the life of the kingdom, we attract more souls into the kingdom of God, without having to open our mouths to preach many times. The life in the Kingdom of God is the life that is controlled by the Spirit of God. This life expresses the different traditions and cultures of God’s Kingdom. It is the kind of life that every citizen in the Kingdom of God is commanded to live. When you see the how effective this life is, as it is written in the scriptures

Thus saith the Lord of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.

Zechariah 8:23 KJV

In the same way, you wives must accept the authority of your husbands. Then, even if some refuse to obey the Good News, your godly lives will speak to them without any words. They will be won over

Behave and conduct yourself in such a way that unbelievers will want to follow your God. You will agree with me that it is very rewarding to make kingdom values your lifestyle. 

Showing Love to Sinners: it was love that made way for you to become God’s child. God loved us enough to send Jesus as sacrifice for our sins, so should we love others also. We were loved much; we should love much. We were forgiven much; we should also rise for the salvation of others. 

When you express the love of God to unbelievers, you make positive impacts in their lives and show God to them, not by words but by actions, and these can draw them into the Kingdom of God. 

We are commanded to show love. Our King is Love and as we express love to the world, many souls will be won through the gifts of love that we give them. 

They don’t have to deserve the love you show to them per time, that Jesus died for them, is enough reason to love them unconditionally. 

Preaching the gospel: spreading the good news through telling unbelievers about what Jesus has done for them on the cross of Calvary is also a good way you can employ to bring more souls into the kingdom of God. 

Strategic Evangelism: this method seeks to overcome many of the limitations you can be faced with in the use of the previous ways or methods. 

There are places, communities and states that prohibit some of the ways discussed previously, particularly the outright preaching of the gospel.

 There is a strategic way you can employ to win more people into God’s Kingdom, it is as easy as not even taking much effort from you, it only takes your being tactful. This technique is wearing branded Christian clothing. 

Just by wearing clothing with redemption provoking words, you can move a great magnitude of people into the Kingdom of God. Can you imagine, your outfit speaking words that will transform lives and transport them into the Kingdom of God? It is so amazing, dumbfounding and jaw dropping to win souls into God’s Kingdom by the clothing you have on.
